Level One Bank Hires Top Mortgage Producer, Tim Smith, as a Mortgage Banker

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., - Level One Bank, a leading community bank in Michigan, has hired Tim Smith as a Mortgage Banker. The announcement was made by Timothy R. Mackay, EVP, Consumer Banking Officer of Level One Bank.

Smith joins Level One Bank’s growing residential mortgage division. With over 30 years of mortgage lending experience and recognition as one of the top mortgage lenders locally and nationally, Smith will be responsible for helping homebuyers and homeowners meet their homeownership goals through purchase, refinance, and construction and renovation solutions. Smith will primarily serve individuals in the Oakland County region, with his main office in Birmingham.

Smith has been named one of the top producing mortgage originators in the state of Michigan and across the United States. He was named Michigan’s #1 mortgage originator by Mortgage Executive Magazine, Scotsman Guide, and the National Mortgage News in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He has also been recognized among the Top 200 Mortgage Originators in America for 8 years in a row.

Smith is an active volunteer with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is a Triathlete who often competes in events to raise funds for the organization. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Business at Michigan State University and resides in Bloomfield Hills with his family.
