We are committed to our communities
Level One Bank is a true community Bank. We know our clients are also our friends and neighbors and we remain dedicated to the communities we serve. Our team continues to identify needs in underserved communities and make meaningful contributions. Below are just a few of the ways we show our support.
Level One team members love to give back by sharing their financial knowledge and expertise with members of the community. It's a rewarding experience for both teachers and students alike.
Our team has developed a comprehensive curriculum of financial literacy courses and provides free training to individuals and non-profits with whom we partner. Courses include an introduction to basic banking services, setting financial goals, household budgeting, checks vs. money orders, payday lender risks, identity theft and much more.
We also partner with local programs including Read to a Child Detroit and Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan to provide education and mentorship to elementary and middle school students.
Level One Bank is proud to offer a number of grant programs to assist low-income homeowners with down payment and closing cost assistance, barrier-free home improvements and more. To learn more about these opportunities, click here.
Since 2014, we have distributed more than $800,000 in grant funds to low-income individuals and families in need of assistance with home financing and restoration.
